He began recording music at age 15 after being challenged to a rap battle in an online video game chatroom and built early attention by freestyling in Call of Duty lobbies. He gained significant attention in 2019 with the viral single “Nike Ticks,” which has surpassed 100 million global streams, contributing to a catalog that has exceeded 300 million total streams worldwide. YNG Martyr has collaborated with Billy Marchiafava, Riff Raff, and Allday, and has performed at Listen Out, Falls Festival, and Spilt Milk.
