Tulsa, OK – Stardom 101 Magazine, in collaboration with Tulsa’s own hip hop artist Dangerous Rob, has unveiled a commemorative billboard in North Tulsa at the historic corner of Apache and Cincinnati (Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd).
The location is deeply symbolic—25 years ago, Rob stood on that very corner in the scorching Oklahoma heat, selling his CDs and cassettes in pursuit of his dream.
“I used to stand on that corner in 100-degree weather selling my CDs and cassettes on a quest to be recognized in hip hop,” said Dangerous Rob. “For Stardom 101 Magazine to collaborate with me and place a billboard in the community where I started the grind—it’s heartfelt.”
The tribute comes at a milestone moment in Rob’s career. He recently earned his first plaque from Apple iTunes after his single charted at #44 on the Top 100 Daily Hip Hop Charts.
2025 has already proven to be a cornerstone year for Rob’s journey, with major projects in the works—including an upcoming movie and album slated for release in 2026.
This billboard stands not only as a celebration of Rob’s personal achievements, but also as a testament to perseverance, community roots, and the enduring spirit of hip hop culture.
