Brooklyn emcee Memoir. has shared a new release called “luxury freestyle.” Marking a strong return after a 7 month hiatus, “luxury freestyle.” features a stylish soundscape, sharp, infectious flows, and elegant visuals that provide an engaging, cohesive package. Atop graceful keys and a booming rhythm section, Memoir. shines as a vocalist with silky flows laid down with ease. From recording on a cheap mic in a public housing stairwell, and saving his allowance to pay for real studio time, to garnering over a million streams to date; Memoir. Is showing us the meaning of his name by proving that you can truly write your own story. His debut project, the Breathe. EP, released in 2019, is a vignette of a young man’s journey to understanding himself including and all of the trials and tribulations that come with it. It’s his 3rd song to hit the 100k+ stream milestone. Memoir. continued his ascension in 2022 releasing four singles as it was ‘Poised II. / Hold Grudges.’, and now, after a 7 month hiatus Memoir. returns with the single “luxury freestyle.” produced by Benihana Boy accompanied with a music video.
